What
a spirit filled revival we have just experienced. Person after person
has expressed that to me. Thank you, Bro. Phillip Garrett, for your
mesages that challenged us and caused us to think again about the
spiritual connection between our church home and our family home.
During the week, many of us came recommitting our lives at the altar.
Coming
up on the first Friday in Sept. (the 3rd) is our first health fair
sponsored by Crisp Regional. This is a great opportunity to receive
basic health checkups free or at a greatly reduced cost. Complete
details are here on our web site.
Also on the last Saturday in
Sept., we will have our Women's Bible Conference from 8:30 AM-Noon.
Appearing will be Roger Ann Davis (the pastor's sister) and author,
Nancy B. Gibbs with thrilling music by Jill Gibbs. All ladies
everywhere are invited to attend.
And of course, we are thrilled
with our new stained glass windows. They add so much to the serenity
and worshipful atmosphere in our sanctuary.Thanks to Bro. Roy Hall and
Bro. Don Hays for their work on this. You can still pledge a window for
$1250.00.
